That’s incredible. You would fare much better chartering a private jet for a short distance because, in addition to that massive amount of money, you still have to incur the cost of these big gas guzzlers which can guzzle over 1000 liters per hour while on high seas.

The co-founder of PayPal Peter Thiel is investing a huge chunk of his cash in Blueseed, a company focusing on assembling an offshore luxury city. The yacht will be found off the coast of California, and it will specifically serve the young professionals. Startups and entrepreneurs should apply as they will be most considered for a spot on the yacht. The successful applicants will pay around a $1,600 monthly fee to be allowed to work and live on the floating city. That’s a reasonable price considering the level of luxury you can get from a superyacht. The floating city superyacht is considered to offer the perfect opportunity for budding entrepreneurs.

A prototype island yacht exists 

A prototype island-based yacht built by Yacht Island Designs, a company located in the UK, comes entirely designed with Tiki huts and a little oasis. The huts are built with real palm trees. 

Additionally, the yacht comes with a model volcano on its top. This volcano spews water off to run into the swimming pool. It has 4 VIP guest suites plus an owner’s suite located in the body of the volcano. It also provides facilities like a library, cinema halls, gym, sauna and game room. The superyacht named Octopus belongs to Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and was credited with a fantastic discovery. Early in 2015, it was announced that a WWII-era ship was spotted off the coast of Philippines. The ship had sunk, and after a long search of about eight years, it was spotted by a team of crew members including Allen. The sunken ship was believed to have been a battleship that sunk in 1944.
