It’s Over. The End of Don’t Stop Living.

There is nothing really more to say. I have 1 or 2 articles almost finished that I will publish and that is it. It’s over. Don’t Stop Living began in 2007 as a passionate real life travel blog and I lived some kind of dream. But today it’s over. The story ends…friendship, loyalty, love. #dontstopliving #olamueller

Friendship Loyalty Love - The End of Don't Stop Living

Friendship Loyalty Love – The End of Don’t Stop Living

Don’t Stop Living was nine years old in August this year and 2017 would have been the 10 year anniversary. However, the blog is finished now. It’s over. My travel blog that I loved and cherished, it’s finished. You knew it was coming, the last 6 months have been a struggle for me in life. Most people around me know the reason why I had to end it. DEPRESSION. I am staying in Poland now, beating depression and trying to live my life with nice people around me that care about my travel stories. So thanks for following the last 9 years here, I will post properly about this before the year ends if I can, but maybe not. I won’t promise. But I need my private time now and maybe a new project if my suicidal thoughts ever vanish or the apology ever comes from Ola Mueller. They do not have enough understanding of how they destroyed or ruined a happy go lucky travel writer and tourist. Each day they wish death upon me and refuse to apologise and I cannot keep it going as I cannot fathom the reason why I am worse than Hitler to them, so I have to quit. Those around me do not understand my depression or the reasoning why I am so suicidal and probably never will but I have only been honest – it was Ola Mueller that caused it, because alone, with my travel diary and camera, I was always fine. So I have to end it. The only way to finish this without an apology was to write about the situation, and end my travel story here. It’s done.

Karolina and Ola drinking piwo with me, the latter girl lied and lied.

I travelled a long way and I know it. I was a strong person, confident, hard working, happy, enthusiastic when I arrived in Gdansk on 3rd July 2016. I met lots of nice people who helped me, showed me around, bus routes, cafes, visa options but not everybody was like that. I visited 136 countries, 845 towns or cities and 7 continents for real. But then it all went wrong. It’s time to go it private, if you are keen to continue to hear about my life, add me as a friend on Facebook. I will put the link below as I am not shy about that. Thank you and goodbye. #dontstopliving #theendiscoming #backpacking#northernirishman #itsover

Hi Agra, thanks for the comment. Safe travels. Jonny

  4. Jonny Blair says:

Hi Bernie, thanks for the comment and kind words. Yes, sadly I don’t feel mentally well enough to write any more and to be honest, I haven’t written much the last 6 months either compared with before. Safe travels. Jonny

  5. Lily says:

    Hi Jonny,

I’ve actually just stumbled across this blog from an interview you gave on Teaching Travelling; I’m currently a final year English university student, and spent last year in Hong Kong on a year abroad. I’m thinking of teaching abroad in Hong Kong next year or the year after, and your interview was really inspirational and your blog also looks fantastic. I’m sorry to hear you are not feeling your best, and wish that things will get better for you. Best of luck from one stranger to another and I hope you are surrounded by people able to support you.

  6. Sorry to see this post-Jonny, I have followed your Blog on a weekly basis since 2013 and you were one of the main reasons I traveled to Antarctica (On the same ship in fact!). You have provided me (and countless others) with inspiration, ideas and guidance many times and I would like to thank you for that – You really have influenced my life for the better and I hope you can feel positive about that.

I hope you continue to keep this blog online – I continue to read your stories and gain inspiration for the places I would like to visit.

Thanks again and I hope you get your life back on track and fight through the depression,

    Paul

  7. Ben says:

    Jonny,

I admire your honesty about your mental condition. I believe it’s helpful for beginning to take actions to alleviate it. On the other hand, not knowing what really happened with those two that you demanded an apology from, I would say that the power is always within you to forgive and move on. Forgiving is a powerful act that allows you to shift focus to more productive areas of your life. Hope you get better.

    Ben

  8. Jonny Blair says:

Hi Pual, thanks for the comment. I loved how you also went to Antarctica but right now is a dark time and I cannot go on, not just with blogs but perhaps in life. It’s weird how others don’t understand depression and how humans cannot do a simple request to save someone else’s life or mind. I would do this at the drop of a hat to save anyone’s life, even for an enemy. Sometimes I think I am just too nice. But this has to be the end and it was caused ironically by two girls I once roomed with and enjoyed good times with initially on my journey. Safe travels. Jonny

  9. Jonny Blair says:

Hi Lily thanks for your message and support. Sadly this was the final post on a website that I initially wanted to use to tour the world with – I was hoping to visit every country and write about it with passion but the journey halted on country 136 when I was caused suicidal thoughts and depression from Aleksandra “Ola” Mueller, a Kokoszkowy girl. Each day and night I pray and pray that she will finally admit her mistakes and apologise but it hasn’t happened yet – she even lied to the Police and my Mum.
Thanks for your support from Hong Kong – I spent on and off about 4 years there and explored lots of remote parts of China so I loved it. But it’s been and gone. Best wishes. Jonny

  10. Jonny Blair says:

Hi Ben. Thanks so much for the comment and support and sorry for the delay. I haven’t been logging onto this site or my emails recently. Everyone seemed to think that a long term travel blogger, 130+ countries deep with lots of friends and experiences would be happy. But they were wrong. I am so depressed and days are a huge battle now. Best wishes, safe travels. Jonny

  11. Donna says:

Can you explain what this girl has done to you and why you feel so depressed

  12. Jonny Blair says:

Hi Donna, it was a string of horrific lies, mostly related to disrespecting my travel blog, taking advantage of me and promises that were unkept. I will write more detail sometime. Best wishes. Jonny

  13. André Devecseri says:

It’s a shame that you had to be exposed to such toxic people, but although I haven’t been through what you have, I hope you’ll get out of this state at the end of the day, and NOT let them win.

  14. Jonny Blair says:

Hi Andre, thanks for the comment and for following my blog. I visited 150 countries in 36 years then suffered a breakdown and depression. I picked my self up again this year, living in Poland now and I blog here – http://www.northernirishmaninpoland.com/ Best wishes and safe travels to you. Jonny
