1. Walk around Duck Town Park
On your vacation, be sure to make visit the Duck Town Park and Boardwalk. This is a fabulous 11-acre park area with green open space and it’s tucked into the small commercial district of Duck. It makes for a great walk as the soundside boardwalk connects the town’s commercial area to the Currituck Sound, nearly a mile along. Duck Town Park’s amenities include the Town Green, an amphitheater, a playground, a crabbing area, a picnic shelter and also features numerous walking trails through the maritime forest.
