My Travel Timeline 2003 – 2025

Backpacking in the Faroe Islands: Exploring Saksun on Streymoy Island

My Travel Timeline: Jonny Blair

I thought it would be a good idea to post my travel timeline since 2003 to give you all an idea of how I manage to travel as much as I do. Now that my journey has ended due to a compulsive liar, it’s time to compile this list. A lot of people ask me where I have worked and how I have funded and financed my way around the world. I’ve worked in a lot of jobs and places and am also a published author. I have built myself a lifestyle of travel and I must admit it’s easier than staying in the same place and yes it’s a cliche but anyone can do it!!! You just need to make sure you work hard, travel light and don’t spend money on “stupid things” like TVs, clothes, beds and mobile phones! I’ll do this in reverse chronological order, starting with the most recent year 2023:

Where I travelled each year is written in green (COUNTRY: Location)
Where I lived each year is written in red
Where I worked (voluntary, pleasure and paid) each year is written in brown
Where I studied each year is written in black
