This week I reminisced on my twenty year mark away from my home country, it was September 2003 when I left Northern Ireland to relocate to Bournemouth. Then yesterday, I covered that time I didn’t go to Abu Dhabi, yet I finally made it there in 2023. In between times, I backpacked Dubai four time! Dubai is famously known for its high-rising skyscrapers and architecture. It is known as the landmark of iconic buildings. Dubai is well known for its stand-out features and it is worldwide recognized for its emirate. The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world well known for being a city landmark. Dubai is filled with many shopping malls and grand hotels. Dubai has opened a museum of the future in 2022 which is also a landmark in Dubai. It is listed as 14 beautiful museums in the world by National Geographic. 

Burj Khalifa 

Burj Khalifa is a famous architectural piece around the world. It is the tallest structure in the world and a well-known skyscraper in Dubai. 

Burj Khalifa is 828 meters, 160 storey tall tower can be seen far away. It is shining in the distance, looming over the skyline. 

It took 6 years to complete this iconic building, 22 million man hours, and $1.5 billion cost to build. Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill designed this structure. It has the highest occupied floor and observation deck in the world, as well as the longest travel distance lift.
