My 2016 travels took me to the Polish seaside port of Gdynia and later, through a travel friend, Karolina, to Tczew. I toured Gdynia because I was reviewing a cool food tour for Eat Polska, while based at the marvellous Cycle On Hostel in Gdansk. I later toured Tczew before depression kicked in and Don’t Stop Living and Jonny Blair became a shadow of my former self. However, I still did some touring and even clocked up some more visits to Wacaday Nations, including Królestwo Dreamlandu (Dreamland Kingdom). Królestwo Dreamlandu would have made for a perfect post here on Don’t Stop Living. It is a Micronation which was formed in Gdynia, and I was able to meet, by some coincidence Mateusz, who has a position of power within this Polish virtual nation, crazy kingdom! Mateusz Kulewicz, is the vice King of Scholandia, and the Minister of Internal Affairs for Krolestwo Dreamlandu. We have now attended three football matches together and I visited the micronation.
So I won’t write about it on Don’t Stop Living, but I felt it fair to link to the article on my new website and therefore have Królestwo Dreamlandu represented on here, as it is every bit as real a country as the other 153 I toured to date (as of September 2017), so here is the post of my trip back to Gdansk. It covers my history from Tczew, to Gdynia and finally we watched a football match together in Gdansk whilst also attending an art festival. It was a marvellous day.
