Today on Thirsty Thursdays yet again I bust some travel myths about the prices of things. Did you know that you can get a free pint of beer in London? Yes you can! While staying in the cosy Mad Hatter Hotel (excellent location too by the way) in Southwark (London, England), I popped into the Mad Hatter Pub downstairs and they have an offer that you can get a FREE pint of Fuller’s London Pride if you subscribe to their e-mailing list. No strings attached!

How to get your FIRST free pint
So here’s what to do – head to the Mad Hatter Hotel website and click on the link on the top right that says “Free Beer? +”

Fill in your email address to join the mailing list and within one day you will get an email with a confirmation and a code to claim your free pint. Just head to a Fuller’s Pub and show the code to get your free beer!
Also in addition, if you take a photo of your empty pint and tweet it @London_Pride with #EmptyPint by the 16th of November, you’ll be sent a voucher which gets you another pint.

1. Take a photo of your empty London Pride glass
2. Follow @London_Pride on Twitter, and tweet your photo with #EmptyPint before 16th November 2014
3. If all is well, you’ll be sent a voucher code via Direct Message
4. Come and see us at the bar, show us your code, and we’ll pull you a pint of London Pride on us.

Hi Ray, thanks for the comment – wow you haven’t heard of it? Really?! It’s the most popular and well known ale in London – it’s an ale not a lager. It’s a brewery and a massive one, so definitely wouldn#t class it as micro brewery, but London Pride is available in almost every pub in London, as well as many other parts of England. Safe travels.
