Travellers taking regular flights to Asia, for example cheap business class tickets to Hong Kong, Malaysia or Singapore, and other distant places, know the worth of interior comfort. Many of these travellers if they have the budget, are ready to pay double price just to get a more spacious seat and an extended leg room. However, premium class comfort does not always require heavy expenditures. There are lots of ways on how to save money and buy cheap business class tickets. Unfortunately, a large percentage of passengers do not know how to look for discounted airfares and they simply simply neglect this opportunity. These simple tips will help you find affordable business class flights.
1. Opt for Cheaper Airlines
It is no secret that different airlines offer different airfares on their business class seats. Top airlines are very expensive and are beyond the purse of the average passengers. So, the easiest way out is to avoid such companies and fly with cheaper airlines. Do not get upset if you are not offered a flatbed seat, as any business class seat is a lot more comfortable and spacious than a coach seat. Also, do not forget about other amenities available onboard business class cabins. And don’t forget to avoid my personal “sh*tlist” – world’s worst airlines. My personal favourites for long haul have to be British Airways and Emirates.
2. Collect and Use Air Miles
Frequently flying passengers are awarded special points or air miles. These points give their owners certain advantages, including a discounted seat upgrade. In other words, if you have enough frequent-flyer points you can use them to upgrade your seat. Admittedly it was only after I met my girlfriend Panny in 2010 that I fully understood how and why to use Air Miles. I’m now a wizz at it.
3. Opt for Restricted Tickets
Restricted tickets are those that are offered during a specific period of time and have certain restrictions. Generally, you are not able to refund or exchange such tickets. Restricted tickets are usually cheaper than usual ones and their price depends on the number of assigned restrictions. The more restrictions – the cheaper the ticket. As a nomadic traveller, you’ll have no set plans anyway and will always board that flight, so it’s a no brainer.
4. Avoid Popular Travel Days
To find cheap business class flights, you need to avoid popular travel days. Thus, the cheapest airline tickets on flights to the hottest business destinations can be purchased on Saturdays, as a vast majority of business travellers prefer flying on Sundays. Flights to popular holiday destinations tend to be more expensive on Saturdays, so keep that in mind when looking for a low-cost tickets. Tuesday is the day to go 😉
5. Compare Prices and Get Professional Help
The easiest way to save money is to compare prices. However many people are not fond of price comparison, as it takes much time. If you do not feel like monitoring airfares on flights to Singapore or other popular destinations, assign this task to professionals working at cheapfirstclass.com. This company will help you find cheap flights to Hong Kong and any other destination. Backpacking in Northern Ireland awaits 😉
Hope these tips are of some help to you all and safe travels! I’m back in Hong Kong for a spell.
