When it was arranged that Northern Ireland would play Romania away in a football friendly in 2024, I just had to go. It was a nobrainer and it was the culmination and cumulation of a ten year itch waiting to be scratch and all this for a day of freedom in the happy life. If only. You see, way back in November 2014, Northern Ireland were also playing Romania away. I used this as my base before backpacking through Comrat in Gagauzia and it’s a cool hostel. I also was out in a few different bars this time. I’m a fan of Chisinau / Kishinev. As I waved it goodbye this time, again I felt it wouldn’t be my last time here. The city’s got a charm.
