Visa declination is tough on our travels. In the past I have struggled with visas for China, Algeria, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Suriname and a few others. I have also been totally declined visas for Sealand and the Kingdom of Elleore – both in 2015. This time, I was planning to go backpacking in Czechia again and I eyed up two neighbouring micronations – The Other World Kingdom and the Kingdom of Wallachia. Of these, I have now been declined entry to the Other World Kingdom, a micronation which borders Czechia.

What is the Other World Kingdom (OWK)?
The Other World Kingdom (frequently abbreviated OWK) was a large, commercial BDSM and femdom facility, resort, and micronation, which opened in 1996 using the buildings and grounds of a 16th-century chateau located in the municipality of Černá in Žďár nad Sázavou District, Czech Republic. Although not recognized by any other country, it maintained its own currency, passports, police force, courts, state flag and state hymn.

What kind of a Kingdom is it?
Well to be honest, the title of the country is confusing as it’s a FEMALE dominated society where men are slaves, so why is it not called QUEENDOM? The mind boggles at that. It means that men are seen as the less important species here, and they are enslaved, often tied up, handcuffed, stripped nude and often made to perform sexual acts. It sounds pretty crazy!

The OWK was founded June 1, 1996 and is a commercial Femdom Facility, resort and micro-nation using the buildings and grounds of a 16th century chateau. The OWK is ruled by Her Royal Majesty Queen Patricia I, as absolute monarch.

So what do you mean men are slaves?
Well men are treated as sex slaves and when I looked at the photos, it seems quite brutal. There is no shame here, men are stripped, they are beaten, even their willies and balls are tortured. It would certainly be a scary place to visit and maybe a dangerous country for me, but I wanted to see if I could get a visa to visit. Look away if you don’t like nudity or seeing slavery or sexual acts.

So why was my visa declined?
I emailed the Queen and was informed that the Castle is currently closed to the public. Therefore I cannot visit. It would be pointless for me to go to the Castle to stand outside just to take a photo beside the OWK. Madame Gabrielle von Malendorf emailed me personally to decline my invitation.

So is that the end?
Maybe one day they will let me in. Or maybe it’s best I don’t visit? I mean I did do nude yoga in London, naked park antics in Bavaria, a nudist beach in Poland and got spanked in Lviv, Ukraine. But perhaps this Other World Kingdom is a step too far…the country has its own currency (the Dom) which can be bought online and there is plenty of information about the OWK online.
