“God damn right – it’s a beautiful day” – The Eels.
Well that crept up fast. FIFTEEN FUCKING YEARS passed you and I nonchalantly by, for better or worse.
“And on the streets tonight, an old man prays with newspaper cuttings of his glory days” – Nick Wire.
(“And on the streets tonight, an old man cries with newspaper cuttings of a suicide” – JB)
In June 2007, I left my high flying job at Bite Communications. In July 2007, I typed up the first blog posts (offline) and even before that, on the 16th May 2007, I booked my flight to Toronto on a trip that would change my life. I had no idea what a travel blog was this time 15 years ago!! Yes I didn’t know what a travel blog was, yet within the next 5 years, I’d write 1,000 blog posts and the blog would become professional. This travel blog first went live online in August 2007, to be precise Monday 27th August 2007. Since October 2012, Don’t Stop Living has been professional, earning money and being run as a business. It’s rather astounding.
“When you put it all together, it’s the model of a charmless man” – Blur.
So here’s a full list of every blog post, by month – all articles through the years on Don’t Stop Living, not that anyone in their right mind will ever have time to read them. This doesn’t include the pages, just the actual posts. I’m trying to tidy the blog up and improve it now that the fifteen year anniversary is approaching. Delve into the glory days as my ongoing battle with depression continues, stay safe everyone.

There was never any intention to make long term travel my lifestyle nor to make this blog a business – things just happened and developed for me – travel blogging is a hard lifestyle to remove yourself from. It’s addictive. The years of effort, writing, editing, uploading, crashing have paid off somehow. I am working on other projects now, meaning that DSL will not necessarily be my main focus anymore, though it remains my “flagship travel blog” and I’ll be posting as regularly as I can!
Glory days loyal!
